The premise of the game is fairly simple, it requires players to guess a five-letter word in six attempts or less....

The game, which involves players from around the world, asks users to solve the puzzle by guessing a mystery five-letter word—in 6 tries or fewer. The game refreshes each day, with a new word that needs to be worked out from scratch. Wordle tries to help users stumble across the correct word by using a color-coded system; each correct letter in a guess turns green, or yellow if it’s in the word but is currently in the wrong place, or grey if it is incorrect....

Per company Debmar-Mercury, the show will finish its current 14th season, meaning that it will air new episodes on Fox until the fall. At that point, the show’s slot will be taken over by Sherri, a new show led by frequent Wendy guest host Sherri Shepherd. This show will include elements from Williams’ show, including the same showrunner and the Hot Topics segment that has provided many of The Wendy Williams Show’s most viral moments....
