World of Warcraft: Classic Release Time

The WoW: Classic servers will go online at 6 p.m. EST. for North America according to a tweet from Blizzard.

In order to play Classic, you’ll need an active World of Warcraft subscription that costs $14.99 a month. The Classic servers are an add-on to the main game but can be played separately without any prior knowledge of what’s been going on in Azeroth. If you have been waiting for a chance to jump into a game that launched in 2004 without any of the baggage that’s been thrown on over the years, this is your best chance.

World of Warcraft: Classic Server List

When you first log into the new game mode, you’ll have to pick a server. You’ll have a choice between PVE (where you have to flag yourself in order to fight other players), PVP (where you can attack any member of the opposite faction) and Roleplay (where you can pretend to be a gnome or an orc). New servers are being constantly added, but here are the main ones for North America we know that are coming at launch.

WoW Classic players are going to all be charging in at one time to get into the game so log-in queue times will be long. If you are logging into the Herrod realm, which is one of the most popular, you might have to wait in a queue line with 10,000 other people according to a forum post from Blizzard.
