On Wednesday, the Tulsa Police Department published a Facebook post regarding their “weekly most wanted” suspect connected to the murder of 30-year-old Eric Graves.
“The Tulsa Police Department is looking for information about the whereabouts of Lorraine Graves,” the Tulsa Police Department wrote in the Facebook post.
The post said Lorraine Graves is charged with with accessory to murder in the killing of Eric Graves.
“Detectives say she was involved in the city’s 10th homicide of 2021 where Eric Graves was shot and killed at the St. Thomas Square Apartments,” the Facebook post said.
The Tulsa Police Department described Lorraine Graves as a Black female, around 5-foot-7 and weighing around 200 pounds.
On Friday, the Tulsa Police Department published another Facebook post stating that Lorraine Graves was arrested after she commented on the previous post from Wednesday.
“Shortly after that, Lorraine Graves started commenting on our post asking about reward money,” the Tulsa Police Department said.
The Facebook post on Friday featured a screenshot of Graves’ comments on the original post.
“What where’s the reward money at?” Graves wrote in the comment.
The screenshot also featured replies Graves received, including one commenter who wrote, “giiiiirl you better stay off social media they can track you!!”
Another commenter replied by saying, “Lorraine Graves aint [sic] gonna be as funny when you get processed.”
According to the Tulsa Police Department, a day after Lorraine Graves published her comment on the original post, she was arrested by officers with the Fugitive Warrants unit.
“Graves is charged with Accessory to Murder. Her bond is set at $500,000,” the Tulsa Police Department said in the post on Friday. “This is an arrest, not a conviction.”
Prior to the arrest of Lorraine Graves on Thursday, the Tulsa Police Department previously arrested two other individuals in connection with the murder of Eric Graves. In March, two brothers identified as Gabriel and Jayden Hopson were arrested and accused of murdering Eric Graves who was found dead in the Wedgewood apartments.
According to KOTV-DT in Tulsa, an arrest affidavit stated the two brothers planned to ambush Eric Graves in his apartment.
“It appears to be mostly about a girl. It appears that there were people that were romantic rivals that decided to air it out with guns,” Lt. Brandon Watkins with Tulsa Police Homicide said, according to KOTV-DT.
Newsweek reached out to the Tulsa Police Department for further comment but did not receive a response in time for publication.
